Thirteen.... and counting

So,,, On June 9th the Yanks were one game ahead of the Bosox - 1st place in the AL east,,, Lets look at what has gone on since !




the Record is 4 and 9, swept by Boston, won 2 of 3 from the Mets on a gift !, lost 2 of 3 to the Nats, and Marlins, and a loss last night to the Braves... out scored by ten runs over that time frame (and remember they scored 15 in the last games .vs the Mets) so that gap is even larger,,, SHUTOUT 3 times in 13 games,,, Let me repeat that..SHUTOUT 3 times in 13 games.,.


Now 5 games out of the AL east lead ,, tied with Toronto and just 2 games better than the Rays.... The house has started to Fall APART !! I do not see them turning this around,,, they need to start doing things to WIN games rather than not to lose them,,, At least two games ended with the Running man - Brett Gardner on third as the tieing run,,,, and now,,, you can see that the opposition is pitching around Tex ,, and taking their chances with Alex,, as he continues to slide,,,


Back in the 80's the Yankees were awful,,, no talent,, if it was not Donnie Baseball , then they did not have much going,,, BUT this group,,, these are good players, heck many are VERY good players that are just not stepping up.,.,. just goin thru the motions,, THAT IS NOT THE MARK OF A TRUE YANKEE TEAM !!
