Turkey trotting, and No one give a Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... but me

Turkey splits ,,, Can you find the hills on the Course,, betcha CAN !!

Ok,, so I was 55th of 77 runners,,, 

55  Mark  Hoban Statsburgh, NY m 53 2:29:15.60


Ok,,, SO this course is easy to follow,,,, Start Way the hell out by the track at Arlington HighSchool.... run over to Dr Fink Road,,, that connects with Freedom just long enough to cross the Road , and go Up Cramer Hill,,, big hill ,,, Cramer then connects to OLD Overlook - go right on OLD Overlook , then Left on Overlook rd...  mostly downhill here till you make a right on Sleight Plass rd.  - water stop here (3 Water stops courtesy of the Boy Scouts) Sleight Plass into the Valley, one big ole hill near Plass's chicken farm,,, Go thru Mile 8, Water stop #2 here and keep straight on South Ave,, some traffic here to watch for... Keep right onto Rt 44,,, up a small hill , then right onto Traver Road,,, Traver is up and down for the next two miles,,, Water stop near Medaugh Rd. then a BIG HILL , last one at mile 12 .... reconnect to Freedom road, that then goes  all the way back to Dr. Fink, about 2 and 1/2 miles,,, Left on Dr. Fink, 1/2 mi, then  left into the Parking lot at the HS, a lap around the Parking lot,,, and you are done ! 15.5 miles,,,,

Here are the mile Splits,,, Geez,, I am a lousy Hill runner,,, and I think they got the Measurement of the Mileage wrong thru 9,10,11,,, no way I ran a 7:52.... All in all happy with the results,,, should hav listened to myself, and started out with the Tank top instead of the Long sleever,,, I would not have had to carry the LongSleever  back from the 2 mile mark , where I took it off,,, and I made th right call and brought my Fuel belt,,, Gatorade = GOOD STUFF !!

So ,,I ran the 13 miles in 2:05 ,, way faster than my Disney World plan,,, that will be a 2.5 hour 1/2 marathon,,,  saving myself for the Next day's Full 26.2 mile Marathon !!....
