So,,, Game one in the 2009 Season looked suspiciously like the 2008 Season,,, Now I know its just GAME ONE,,, so don't get crazy,,, however,, a Starter that can't throw strikes, could not get that run in from 3rd with less than 2 outs,,, running errors,,, and OK,, Cody Ransom has to catch one of those Balls at 3rd base , doesn't he ?:??
To his credit Girardi left CC in to get his 100 pitches,, or close,,, however Sabbathia was horrible,, behind Every hitter,,, 3-0 ,,, 3-1 and couldn't throw the fast ball for a strike,, the Bull pen sucked,,, and could not keep the game close,,
The offense ,,, well OK,,, Tex was what oh for 4,,, I would not have Bunted Gardiner after Swisher doubled in the 7th,,, but , whatever,,, SO much for Jeter not liking the leadoff spot,,, he was 3 for 5 ,,, Hand it to the O's,,, they pounded out 14 hits ! and 10 runs ,,,, Next game Wednesday,,, when we will be in Wang's Wing !!
