Monday's Results

so the Woodstock Memorial day races 5k and 15k,... gotta get your money's worth right??? the 15k is a very fair 9 mile course,,,, uphills, and rolling terrain ,,, there is long up during Mile 2,,, and miles 5,6,7,8, are all preceded by short steep uphills,,,, the course is very shaded,,,and the volunteers do a good job of directing you where needed,,, Note : running that finish faster than the rest of us,, if you want to run the course back ward to cool off, or find a family /friend,,, stay out of the WAY ! ,,you ought to know that !

I am encouraged by the 8:06 in mile 4,,,,, and need to work on being steadier later in the race,,, however,,,, my leg did not hurt at all !!! and even thought I was a little nauseous that afternoon,,, ALL in ALL a successful 1st race in 2009..... Next up the Summer Solstice Run on June 24th,,, another 9.3 miler....

Yanks win Big in Texas,,, Finally Hughes throws a game he is capable of,,, and Alex goes 5 for 5 in the WIN !!! Toronto is fading,,, and the RedSox are in 1st place,,,, Where are the RAYS ???
