so the last thing that the Yankees need is a 3 way race with the Sox, and the RAYS,,, but this is where the schedule is great.... If you are gonna win,, you are gonna win playing these other teams - not KC or Pittsburgh. There are like 34 games left to go,... and the Yankees get 4 against Boston, and 7 against the Rays , a 1/3 of whats left, so that last week will probably decide who is going where and who ain't .
Mr Burnett,,, I have no idea what to say,,, just can not go 3 and 1/3 - 8 hits 8 runs,,, puts your team outta it before they even get a chance.... Mitre pitched very well though,,, so the Pen DID not get used at all... he finished the last 4.1 innings. and you have to like the chances with CC today.... so - as they say - we shall see.
a word on Strasburg,,, you have to feel bad that this happened,,, I do not thing that the Nats did anything wrong or pushed him too quick. And you truely hope he can come back,,, now - don't feel too awful bad (and yes sometime everything with me is about the DOH-REY_ME) . This kid got a $7.5 Million dollar signing bonus,,, and a Guaranteed $15 million over 4 years contract,, so 22 million, so do not feel tooo bad. And to those Idiot announcers that were talking Hall of FAME - after his @ND PITCH in the Majors ! please SHUT UP ! Exactly why the HOF is for exceptional players.. not (and I am not says Strass will be one) Flash in the pan guys...
