Welll, I guess we took a pass on this one ,,, yesterday morning there were warnings, and watches, and OMG,, your would have thought the "End of the World as We know it" ! and I guess some areas to the South did get blasted so ,I hope everyone comes through it ok,,,,,   Bottom line,,, we here ,,,, got Nuttin !!

Maybe I am in a Holiday depression,,,,  seems like so much to do,,, and so much is everyday kinda stuff, Not holiday stuff,,,, and I am always running to catch up to where I think I should be or what should be done by now,,, and ahhh,,, what the hell,..... Like the commercial says,,, "Depression can hurt , Cymbalta can Help !"

So maybe a few Holiday Movies..... George Scott as Scrooge,,,, excellent,,  and It's a Wonderful Life ,, I like tht one ....

Well, back again,,, ghee , I don't think it's been 5 days between posts for a long time,,,, and I really don't have much now,,, but that never f'ing stopped me before !!!

Tis the Season , I guess,,,, other Activity make it seen less like the Holiday time than it should,,, Looks like we are in for little snow,,, forecast is 5-12 inches ! woof,,, Hey , i am actually taking 2 days off !! I know ! OMG !! heading Monday to NYC,, meeting the KIDS for lunch,  I hope.. and a little shopping with 5 million of my friends !!  See the tree,,, go St Pat's - and Annie Moores,,,,

ok,, another day like any other,,, work issues,,, about 20 things to do ,,, and I will then only be like a month behind ....   cold today in the north East ,, 11 at my home this morning,,, and I think it;s only warmed to about 28 right now,, 10am,,,,  4 weeks to Disney World !! Can't wait,,, the goofy should be great and a weeks vacation in Orlando is also pretty sweet.....   I got ya 2 by Hot tuna today,,,

The passing of Liam Clancy

UBLIN, Ireland — Irish balladeer Liam Clancy, last of the Clancy Brothers troupe whose feisty, boozy songs of old Ireland struck a sentimental chord worldwide, died Friday in a Cork hospital. He was 74.

This news from  last week, December 4th,,,, Liam was the Last surviving member of the Clancy Brothers ,.... and along with Tommy Maken put their kind of music in the forefront of the world stage,,,,, Dylan once said  that Liam was the best Ballad singer he ever heard,,,,    so .,.. a couple from them,,, and one goin way back with Pete, when he actually had a TV show !!

So ,,,I got a Halfer on Friday,,,and even better than that,,was outta here E A R L Y  !!  ok,,,so,,,Moved the HUGE Dining table and benches upstairs,put the Sleigh out near the Deer,, I still need Packages for the Sleigh... put up more Lights, attached lights to the Little stars and no I did not staple thru the wires !!  Got a Hair Cut,, Met with my Financial Advisor, Vicki pretty much laid out that  I can retire from here at 57 - YEARS OF SERVICE THAT IS!! OMG I am ordering anew chair cause I will need to be re comfy here for a while ! Previewed Goerge Cole's auction,,, might go back .... went to Woodstock nights,,, slept quik , and VIOLA ! I am back,,,, hey ,,, I will repost to discuss the  Draw that the US Soccer team got in the World Cup.,,, I do not think that it could have gon e better for them !

Seems like a long day,,, started out in a Monsoon this morning,,, really cleared up by 10:30,,, and how many December days do you get to run in shorts, and a Tank !!

Now this afternoon it has clouded back in,,,, but still looks good for the weekend !! Colder though,,,, and Should be perfect for WOODSTOCK NIGHTS !!  More on that tomorrow ....I know you can't wait.....

I hurt,,, Ice helps,,, but I still ache,,, Taking the legs out for 7 miles regardless ,... and hoping for a good outcome !  ok,,, so back from the 7 miles,,, felt good,,, no leg problems,,, I need to keep the ICE going,,,

Ok,, Special note for today,, FACEBOOK just passed the 350 million user mark,, and I have 37 "FRIENDS" - I guess I need to get out MORE ?!?!?!?!?

Hey,,, I watched My President  speak at the POINT last night,,, I thought,, GOOD speech... but I like this guy anyway,,, Thought it was key to remind us of why and how we got into this,,, yes,,, remember,, an unprovoked attack on American soil,, Killed nearly 3000 people in ONE DAY , it United the Nation like maybe never before, or at least  not since Pearl Harbor...  the Congress, Senate and House voted nearly unanimously, to use force on the Taliban,,, and NATO followed,,, Now,, I have had a Peace Sign in my front Tree, along with the RED WHITE & BLUE hand sign,, so I am not on the Side of WAR ,,, but I support the Warriors as Hero's defending Democracy around the world, and we need to do what we need to do so they are not unduly put in harms way.

Just try and think back to Watchin the TOWERS fall down, and how you felt that day,,, and IF you have gone by Ground Zero since,,, and seen the Photos of the Dead and Missing that still hang on the fence near the Church in Lower Manhattan,,

  Let's support Barack Obama, OUR President,, and  work toward a Positive outcome in Afghanistan...
