We have entered the CRAZY Phase

 The Senator from the State of South Carolina said that if trump is indicted  there will be "Riots in the Streets" ,,, There are words that no Senator - let me repeat that - NO Senator - ever  Ever has spoken,... Threatening violence of this nature.  I can't make this up.....

The FPOTUS said on his Truth Social Account (yea this guy would not know the truth if it bit him in the ass) "Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!”

A new election ?  - Exactly where is our Constitutional  process is this ?

Republican candidates are softening their views on Abortion - now not to include all women- But they are understanding that most/all women (and men) do not agree that Rape/Incest/children and  Victims of crimes  and thing that threatens the health of the mother should be forced to carry a baby to term under those conditions....   so while this is a good thing,,, I am hopeful that they actually feel that way - and not just to get vote.... 

What if we were using all the Energy from BOTH Parties, the FBI, DOJ, the Senate , the Hous eof Representatives,  all the justice systems in all the states to Work on Solutions for the REAL issues in the Country - and not the time, energy, money wasted in the Lies about the election, the Capitol Riot and insurrection, and the follow on investigations, and the Document issue with the FPOTUS -  what then ???  Are you - that support the FPOTUS  and his racist, Fascism regime tired of all of this - tired of defending every aspect of it ??  Are you  ?

What about Hillary's E-mails - Hillary testified for 13 hours in front of a Congressional Committee - led  by Republicans - addressing Bengazhi  and the E-mails and never - not once - invoked the 5th amendment.   BUT !! HER E-MAILS !!!

So - next time you hear a defense of WHAT _ ABOUT_ISM...  you will know that there is no rational justification for the Crime that was committed.

In a new lawsuit, former President Donald Trump has filed a motion asking that a special master be named to review the documents seized by the FBI at his Mar-a-Lago residence earlier this month. He has also asked the court to block the Justice Department from further reviewing the material until that happens.

BUT hey - we are the Party that supports LAW and ORDER!!

SO - Last night we watched Ken Burns - Benjamin Franklin - 2 episodes,,, 4 hours.. Outstanding - as all Ken Burns work is....   I highly recommend it...I actually have to go back and see Episode 1...

There are those today that ridiculously point to the Declaration of Independence to say that this nation was founded on Christian beliefs... even though there are many Quotes by those men to say other wise.

Jefferson referred to the claim that he wished “government without religion” 

John Adams - “As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion"......

James Madison'-   “Religion and government will both exist in greater purity the less they are mixed together."

So there's that - 

back to the Franklin documentary   - Jefferson wrote the Declaration in the attic of the home he was staying in in Philadelphia and sent the draft to Franking to review it.... Franklin made few changes to the Jefferson Document - even though Jefferson thought that John Adams should have been writing it.... 

one of the changes he made was this - Jefferson wrote  "we hold these truths to be Sacred and Undeniable"

Franklin edited that because he did not want a religious reference - taking SACRED as that reference..

and as we are all aware - the Phrase "Self-Evident" took it's place in the final document.

Even Franklin and Jefferson knew better that to tie Religion to Govenment.

  

Falling from the TOP!

 While I did not think it was possible to lose a 15 game lead in the AL east - I am now wondering when it happen.   

At the all Star break the Yankees held the best record in baseball.... now they are  8 games ahead of Toronto,,,, 3.5 back of Houston for the best AL record and WAY back of Dodgers for the Best in MLB..

They have like a 5 - 12 record  in August,,, and have been shut out 5 times, and 8 times have scored less than 2 runs..... Now this has to end... or it will be the biggest collapse in franchise history...

And if you are thinking that the schedule will get easier,, and they can go back to beating up bad teams .. or teams that have nothing to play for - think again !

2 more against Toronto

2 against the Mets - and guess who is pitching for the Mets ?? Scherzer  against German on Monday, and deGrom  against Montas on Tuesday. so get ready for 2 more losses... and maybe 2 more shutouts ! plus about a million  K's ! 

4 in Oakland - ok the A's stink - so that should help...

3 in LA - .vs the Angels...  they are so - so - 

then to Tampa for 3 games, - the Rays are 9 back - right now... and need to win to keep themselves in the Wild Card race,,,

This line up should be able to produce some offense - yea they need Stanton back,  Carpenter probably not back till either way late September (if at all!) and Bader - Mid September - so they pretty much have the Team  that they are gonna have.....   

Useful G-Mail hack

 I see that there are always suggestions to improve things in you WEB Browser -or your Email...  Buy - I found ONE that actually worked....

I set up a mail filter in GMAIL that directs Email that is not from an actual person to a different Label (folder) so that I can easily delete it - or you can just delete it ...

You set up the mail filter to look for the word - "Unsubscribe" - not quotation marks...  and then send it to what ever Label/Folder you wish - so that all that crap that comes to your in box form companies it filtered out -because for what ever reason they all include that word (unsubscribe ) in their email somewhere ,....and WHOOSH - Your G-Mail inbox is only for email mails that come  from an Actual person !!

 When will it end,. ?? Can you on the Right and far right continue to defend , and deflect the action of the former POTUS..??  For how long,.... how many issues , statements, actions can you defend ??

You have lost yourself or part of yourself defending this person.... He has transformed the GOP and that part of the country into a CULT.... yup - a CULT - based around his personality...  He has pushed this Country's democracy to the edge. Impeached twice, Investigated to the Hilt. His Minions have be indited and arrested  to a degree never seen before.  It started even before he was the President.. He insulted , and bullied his way thru the GOP primary process,  the GOP convention,,, the COVID crisis.. using  Russian connections to influence the Election in 2016. Mounting an attempted COUP of the Presidency after the 2020 election,,, Look I can go on and on - Can you ?? Can the Country stand more of it,,, are we as I fear - headed toward a Civil war -- in a way that will tear the country to shreds - because it will be very internal,,, it will be neighbors killing neighbors.   It will be fringe military groups using their weapons on the general population, and against Law enforcement,..  

You see now - what were - Normal people - believing that JFK - Senior and Jr are still alive,,, and going to run with Trump in 2024 ,,,  You hear some say that Trump is still President,,, he is running the Government  and the Military.. That the Biden administration is only like TV show,,, that its not really Biden ,, but an actor...  Yea -- this is where we are....  I have said that we have people in Congress that are dumber than a Box of Rocks.... that think Solar power stops when the sun goes down,... that Life Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness is part of the Constitution,,, (pssst ,,, its the Declaration of Independence) ..That there is a Gazpacho Police force.. That the FBI and the DOJ is similar to the SS under Hitler,... that they support Law and order and the Police,, but want to disband and defund the FBI... that are wasting our time with legislation to impeach Garland.  They have nothing else cause their own party took away their committee assignments in the House of Reps. - thats where we are..

Another 4 year term for Trump is the End of the Democracy....  Him running for the Office and losing again might bring the same result...  cause really  - you think he will admit defeat the next time ?? NO - of course he will not. He will then need to summon his supporters in  a way similar to the last time,,,, only then, I think it will be much more serious, and result in a battle like we have never seen.... 

Look - Trump Knows that the second he says he is not running in 2024,,, he becomes irrelevant...  he is citizen, a FORMER everything. in his mind - a nothing...
