If you are young - like my children's ages,,, you will be able to say that YOU saw the great Mariano Rivera,, you were there at "THE STADIUM" many times when they played Enter Sandman. and watched Mo run in from the Bull pen,,, .. and it was lights out for the competition,, I saw Mantle, and Maris, and Mays, McCovey, pitches like Ford, and Marichael, and Gibson, Mclean, and Guidry, Clemens, Seaver, ,, so,, I probably will not be there for the stories,,, but my children will be telling their children of Mariano Rivera.. and this is why Baseball is the greatest game there is.....

CC Thunderstorms, and Boz Scaggs

CC rocks the SchMETS,,,, and OMG,,, they sorta threw the game away in the 2nd inning... I never watch the Mets , unless its Johan pitching,,,, are they really this bad defensively??? Dave Wright is better than that error... and what was with that 1st base ump??? Called ever check swing a strike... that did show you how good CC's Breaking pitchers were.....

Anyway - 9 -1 good win,,, Gardner 5 for 6 ,,, who needs Jeter !! And Al hits one out ! nice! Plus CC gets a Hit and an RBI, and Scores a run !!! Ya think he uses the same tailor as Boomer Wells for the fitting of his uniform ???

Trifecta.....

My Mother and Aunt would always say (I don't know if it's just an Italian thing) that Deaths came in Threes,.... so we now have had the 3 ,, Ed McMahon, Farah, and Michael Jackson,,, Losses for sure to the Entertainment side of the world,,, For me McMahon, in his role as Carson's sidekick, is a bigger impact then the other 2,,, Farah,,, well what guy did not have that Poster !! , whew!.... And the Gloved one,,, I like "Thriller" all right,,, but really he became a Cartoon like , caricature of himself.

So, we get outta Atlanta with 2 of 3,, gain a game back on the Sox,,, and Alex looked like , last night anyway, that he was driving the Ball better,,, That homer in the 1st, was text book A-rod,,, he is so strong that his swing looks so easy , and the ball goes like 420 feet !

and so a few topical songs, for a Friday...
