Talkiing Baseball

While it is still a few days til Pitchers and Catchers report to Spring Training,,,   I am starting to read concerns about the Length of the games,   and the "pace" of the Sport,,,  here are a few of the - what I call - Stupid changes that are being suggested,.

Make the Strike Zone Larger - really - how about just call the Strike zone where it is today,,,the Rules say , Hollow behind the Knee to midpoint of the shoulder,,, you rarely see anything above the Waist Called a strike,.

Change to 2 Strikes for  a Strike out
3 Balls for a walk
Ok don't screw with the Fiber of the Game,,,, it's 3 strikes and 4 Balls.

Start every inning with a  runner on 2nd base,   Huh ?? what's that gonna Do ? how did he get there? does it count against the pitcher ? are you going to say that the 1st batter cannot bunt ,,, cause thats what gonna happen in 90 % of the situations. and who is the Runner ,, a position player? Is he in the Game, or  can he still come in as a substitute player.. My god what a dumb ass idea,

20 Seconds to throw a pitch,, or its a BALL
20 seconds for the Batter to get in the Box  or its a Strike    I might be ok with this .,,, there are certainly situations that the pitcher or the batter would need more time - critical time int he Game and all,,, but yes,,,  I have been at blowouts - where the pitcher or Batter is dealing with it like is game 7 of the Series - when its 15 to 1 in the 8th inning,,,   I might like that the Pitcher has to get right back on the rubber - no walking around the Mound, and batter has to keep a foot in the Batters box,,,

Have a max times the catcher can go talk to the Pitcher - similar to visits to the Mound by the Coach or manager,,,   again ,,, I could go for this - you see visit after visit by the Catcher to the Mound,,

I say  - call the Strike Zone correctly and Make the batter stay in the Box and pitcher on the mound,, and it will speed things up...  and can we get both leagues to play by the same rules ? Either a designated hitter or NOT... especially now with the unbalance of the teams there is always a NL .vs AL series - Oh and my least favorite thing that BB does is expanding the roster to 40 men on September 1st,,,   Ok,, I get why they do it,, but how about this simple twist.  have your 40 men roster with the Team on September 1st,, However the manager has to name the 25 guys that are eligible to play that game - Just like every other game...  25 players,,,  wanna leave all your other starters off the GAME roster for that night - FINE , you are essentially doing that anyway,,, but now you still gotta say what 25 are eligible to play,, so at least there you can't go lefty - righty pitcher, batter changes every batter,,,,

The WORST - updated

Ok,, it snowed, you would think the world came to and end Jesus Christ can we GROW UP ! You dont need 3 gallons of milk and a dozen more eggs and a loaf of bread for one God Damn Day !!
YOU will survive,,

Being ignored is worst than being insulted,,,  ignored means -F you - I  don't need to talk to you until it suits me , I don't need you until I need you,...  No need to call,, no need to text to see how you are doing ? ..NAh - F them - I am busy,,,  I have other things to do,,, hell even when you email me,,, I don't feel I need to respond for Days and Days,,,,  Take it from me - the people you ignore will not always be there to ignore,,, and then its too late,   Just words of advice from MEEE's  to  YOUS ,,

But we can start with WHY the TRUMPs and that dumb ass he has for an advisor - Kellyann -- are promoting Trump business??  I'll tell you why,, they have not divested themselves from these business and stand to make millions by their influence in the White house and passing legislation that favors what they are selling.. If you think they have ,, you got your head in the  Sand,,,  This is guy that told everyone that products should be made in the USA to support our workers , while he made shirts in Bangladesh  - ok,,it was a few years ago,,, but just listen to it,,,,, Great thing these days is as they said on Oceans Eleven - there is always somebody watchin ,,,,

F*&%ing INSANE

Let's be serious here for a minute please,,,, take off your Republican shaded,  glasses  with Rump designers fames and admit that this person has lost touch with reality..  She started down the road and invented the term "Alternative Facts" We all told are children that these were LIES !!!   Quite frankly ,, I wonder how long the 1st Last week Tonight show with John Oliver will need to be to cover all the insanity that has occurred since he was last on the air,,,  any way,,,  here it is,,,

and Now this,,,

Senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway made a statement during a TV interview Thursday , She told MSNBC's Chris Matthews: go look at the Clip for yourself if you don;t belive she said this.
"I bet it's brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. It didn't get covered."
FIRST -  Obama didn't ban the Iraqi refugee program.
SECOND -  there's no such thing as the "Bowling Green massacre".
Conway later clarified that she was referencing  two Iraqis ---- who lived in Bowling Green - OH who LIVED in Bowling Green...... Both were granted refugee status and entered the United States in 2009.They were arrested in May 2011 on a series of terrorism charges and were sentenced two years later after pleading guilty. The two men were NEVER planning on committing an act of terrorism on US soil. Instead, they were trying to help get weapons to al Qaeda in Iraq. YUP - They were terrorists who should not have been allowed in the country, but they weren't planning an attack in the United States. And they didn't kill anyone in Bowling Green (or anywhere else in the US).
WE have enough issues without a Presidential Advisor Making up stories,,  and BTW - what the fuck does this have to do with anything anyway,,,  Trump has an immoral and unconstitutional ban ,, so we need to cite something Obama did to make us think that its all OK,, She is F*&ing INSANE !!

GET Fing ready ,,,, hope we all get to pick what laws we abide by and which not,,,

    Source the New York Times,......

President-elect Donald Trump’s decision to appoint his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as a senior White House adviser very likely violates a federal anti-nepotism law, and shows again how little he seems to care about the legal and ethical obligations of the office he is about to assume.
The language of the law is clear:  "No federal official, including the president, may hire or appoint a relative, including a son-in-law, to “a civilian position in the agency in which he is serving or over which he exercises jurisdiction or control.”
There’s a good reason for anti-nepotism laws, versions of which are also on the books in most states. Government officials seek informal advice and counsel from relatives all the time, but when they appoint or hire those people, they undermine the public’s faith that important posts are being filled with the best possible candidates. And when relatives get security clearance to view classified information and sit in on high-level meetings, it upends delicate dynamics, as senior staff members keep their mouths shut rather than contradict a trusted relative of their boss. Even if Mr. Kushner is technically subordinate to others on the White House staff, he is always first and foremost Mr. Trump’s son-in-law.
The scope of Mr. Kushner’s responsibilities is not clear, but it could be extremely broad. He was by Mr. Trump’s side throughout much of the campaign, an influential voice with impressive contacts. At one point he arranged a meeting between Mr. Trump and the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Lawyers for Mr. Trump and Mr. Kushner have argued that the appointment is legal because the law applies only to executive branch agencies, and the White House is not an agency. The law, under this reasoning, would bar Mr. Trump from appointing Mr. Kushner to a job in, say, the State Department, not to a senior advisory position in the White House.
But Congress, which passed the measure in 1967 partly in response to President John F. Kennedy’s appointment of his brother Robert to be attorney general, was aiming to curb the negative effects of nepotism throughout government. Concerns about nepotism are, if anything, stronger in a White House appointment, where multiple close advisers and fragile hierarchies can easily become snarled by family allegiances.
In addition to being related to Mr. Trump, Mr. Kushner, a 36-year-old real estate investor who is married to Mr. Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, lugs behind him other significant liabilities. Among these are a complete lack of experience in politics or government, and a boatload of conflicts arising from his family’s vast real-estate holdings.
As recently as November, Mr. Kushner met with major Chinese investors over the redevelopment of his family’s flagship property, a Midtown Manhattan skyscraper he purchased in 2007 for $1.8 billion. Mr. Kushner has said he will sell off his interest in that building and other top investments and resign as the chief executive of the family business, Kushner Companies — but like Mr. Trump, he is keeping those....

    Dont look now...

    America should not torture.
    Russia is a menace.
A wall at the Mexican border would not be effective.
A blanket ban against Muslims is wrong.
    Climate change is a threat.
Those statements are in direct opposition to some of the most significant declarations that President-elect Donald J. Trump made before his improbable ascension to the White House.
Who's words are these - Hillary  ?,,, nope - That Damn CNN  ?
Megan Kelly !!  ?? Umm  NO,... Obama ??   Guess again,,,

They are all the words of your President elects nominees to lead the nation’s most important government agencies.
In their first week of grilling before congressional panels, Mr. Trump’s cabinet nominees broke with him on almost every major policy that has put Mr. Trump outside Republican orthodoxy, particularly in the area of national security.
James N. Mattis, a retired Marine Corps general, who long ago expressed his opposition to torture, said on Thursday that if he were confirmed as defense secretary he would support the Iran nuclear agreement, which Mr. Trump has derided. “When America gives her word, we have to live up to it and work with our allies,” Mr. Mattis said at his hearing, a stark contrast from Mr. Trump’s view that the Iran negotiations produced “one of the dumbest deals ever.”
Rex W. Tillerson, whom Mr. Trump has chosen to be secretary of state, parted ways with the president-elect on a range of issues this week, calling President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia a regional and international threat who should be countered with “a proportional show of force.” Mr. Tillerson rejected a ban on Muslim immigrants, called the United States’ commitment to NATO “inviolable” — again contradicting Mr. Trump — and said he did not agree with Mr. Trump’s previous comments that Japan should perhaps obtain nuclear weapons.
And Mr. Trump’s pick to head the C.I.A., Representative Mike Pompeo of Kansas, vigorously defended the intelligence agencies, which Mr. Trump has derided.
