 Re schedule - Redo for 6:00 AM today .. this is way better , no time to working yourself into a frenzy  / headache , ect ,ect......   well actual time is 7:45am - but need to be at the Hospital by 6am for the Prep et al...  hoping for a Laparoscopy  - not the Full Surgery - as recovery is shorter..  So after today (and Recovery) we can start Thinking about and Planning.

Yesterday's fun - 4:00pm  - Drove truck to pickup BiL and went to to look at Deck rebuild job, while my Whole Chicken was roasting on the Traeger.... thought =  hey it will be less than and hour and half..

When  we arrived  - there was a small like burning brakes,,,, but could not locate the source,,,  when I went back to drop off BiL at his house,, the Right Rear was Smoking HOT !!!  

Ok - Back the truck into his drive way - it's 4:55pm.....  Remove the wheel  - Can't budge the wheel - it wil not turn... Ok try to bleed off some fluid = like maybe the Brake hose collapsed,, - but nope - ok - I call the Advanced auto folks,,, yup  - they have a brake caliper in stock - ... go get it,,, Remove and Replace the Locked up one,,, add more fluid,,, pump and bleed the Brakes.  Return the Old Caliper - wow they got a $50 core charge - must really want that one back !!!   and I'm starting to drive back home at 5:53Pm - So less than ONE hour for the Repair including 2 trips to the Parts store..... Thanks to my BiL for the Help / Tools/ Driveway use,, ect, ect..... 

Meanwhile - wife turned Traeger to shutdown cycle at 5:30 - so 90 minutes cook time- and BTW - it was Crazy Delicious !!!  and what a simple meal. Rinse and dry the whole chicken... rub with Fin & Feather Rub,, I refrigerated  it for 24 hours,,, don't really have to,,, place it on the grill thats set for 450 degree.. and 90 minutes later - WHOOSH !!

 Yea BTW - I got my 2nd Covid Shot - the Pfizer version,,,, 

Arm was actually less sore than with the 1st one,,, and  I felt a little odd in the next morning, but had no other affects...  Was not sick or fatigued or anything really,,,  I power washed the Fence and Arbors... and cleaned the house , did some windows etc,,, so no side affects at all......

I hear that Covid remains an issue,,, and states lifting restrictions, We do have - "Covid Fatigue" as Fauci said,,, I know I do,,, We had no 2020 Easter last year, no Memorial day, no July 4th, Labor day Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years, Any Birthdays in 2020.... Easter this year was totally alone, and we are awaiting the Cancellation of all the other activities ,There are some ballgames,,, maybe some Concerts later this year,,, 

We - are collectively Tired of all this,,, but don't want to get sick or burden our Health care system...

What a mess & Today's Rant .... Why did you add that ingredient ?

SO - appointment made TWO weeks ago ... Pre Appointment testing done 5 days ago,. Day before appointment - the call that is spose to say what time is , instead says ,, we can't tell you yet - will call tomorrow with time,,  Wait,, wait,, wait,,, wait,,,  we call them at noon - oh,, yea,  Dr still in with 1st patient, and #2 is waiting,,, so we will call you,,,,,wait , wait, wait,   Dr office calls at 3pm to say - NOPE ! ain't doing this today !  Tuff $hit that you have not had any food or drink since Midnight (since 5pm previous night really ...... Only 22 hours !  we have to reschedule... you gotta retest for Covid tomorrow ! and reschedule set for Friday .... "we promise you will be 1st patient" - I dunno about the person that was #2 if they got surgery or not.......  but the struggle continues,,so 1st things 1st as they say,,,as we need to get thru the next weeks of some medical issues. But I don;t see that as a long term deterrent to doing anything.. Just gonna take time to recover,, which is all good ,,, That said -

What a mess - we don't  know if we are coming or going,,, But I think we are going !

Made a few first steps ,,,, clean out "some" stuff from the cellar - and our closets.But not nearly enough if we are going to be serious about this.. There is a list of things that need to be done before one could sell this house,,,,

Insulation in the attic space and cellar to improve the appearance

Re cement front Steps 

Rebuild or replace the front stone wall.

ReDo the base board look around the kitchen.

Power wash the Fences and the Vinyl archways

Remove, store, dump a lot of the Furniture in the house.. Prep for selling

Fix / Replace ? the Door to the Bread cabinet in the Kitchen

and cement the plan to get the 5 cats out of the House: Motor home purchase ? Buy new home in SC, NC, VA ??  Where ???

Secondly - here is a Rant for today,,,, I am a decent cook,,, Can make almost anything (Baking is another story, as I think you need to be way more exact to be a baker) That all said - I use some slow-cooker , recipe books that have Slow-Cooker meals,, and one pot dishes, and Stove top recipes. 

Now the rant - Why the F do many of these have taht one ingredient that no way 95% of the people making it are gong to have on the house,, and Add tot hat the fact that you can't buy some of these ingredients in anywhere near the small quantity that is called for, and add to that many of these take what is a simple Pasta cheese , chicken/beef/bean recipes and asks you to add a cheese that is like $12 for as mall chunk - and you might as well order dinner out as now the cost is the same... ,,  ok you want some examples ???

Beef Stroganoff recipe : the usual stuff : Meat Onion, Sour Cream, Noodles, Beef Broth  - Three (3) table spoons of Apple Juice !!! So if you don't have or don't really like apple juice and IF your SHOP& STOP rite does not happen to carry  carry Apple juice in a 3 Table spoon container - What NOW ??

Well, that wasn't such a chore, now, was it?

I think thatI should not be posting this ,,, however: Let me say that something happened today for the 1st time in 18 weeks for me and 12 weeks for my wife -  it happened without multipole phone calls and I mean in the 65-90 calls - to get done what we needed done !!

I am beginning to think that nothing happens without me making  Calls / Chats  / E-mails etc. to get someone to do what is required,,, there is an ongoing saga with a Large company that is named for a Fruit that I will tell here very shortly,,,, I though it was over ,, but received an E-mail today that told me - oh no - its not over !!!

Mind games...

 SO - I have read that IF someone - anyone -  is thinking about you long enough or often enough - you begin to think about them,,, and I guess Vise-versa...  Does not matter if that is Family, friend, ENEMY !!  What ever - that we somehow the hell or other -  share a collective telepathy in between humans.

So that if you think of a Person that maybe you have not thought of in years - it Could be that that person is or has been thinking about YOU ! Now that could be good or bad,, and If it's not someone that you could or even have the notion or ability to contact and confirm that thought with - it kinda goes un noticed or forgotten,,,,  

Wouldn't  be weird if that was true - huh ??   So next time you think of someone,, try givin them a call or a text and see if they have been thinking about you !  Might scare the $hit outta ya !!

This NEVER happens to me !!

 So - we bought a humidifier  - HUPRO  HU-777 -  last fall to help with Moisture in the house as we have forced hot air, and it tends to be DRY,....   Wish I could install one in the Plenum in the Furnace but there is just not room - that is another story...

So it has worked great for 6 months,, we bought it on October 9th and it arrived on the 14th,... Amazon of course. It goes thru about a gall on or more of water per day... would probably use more IF we filled the Reservoir exactly when it ran out of water,,,, 

So the other day - I refill the container - and replace it in the Unit,  Nothing ! I can feel air coming out of the top ,, but no mist,,, I clean the unit and scrub out the bottom, , etc,,   after an hour or so of cleaning and Checking,,, Nothing  ! Ok- I am ready to dump it,,, and order another ,, not sure we need to right now,, as it's not dry in the Summer...  So I go onto the HUPRO web Site. I just wanna make sure that I am not missing something that I should be doing, resetting , checking , cleaning,,, who knows,,,,,,

While I am looking at the "Trouble Shooting"  section,,, a Chat window pops up .... ok,, I click that and Ask if they can help with trouble shooting this or is this just sales,,, they say that they can help trouble shoot the unit...  Ok - I tell them whats going on,.. they ask "is there an error message or Code on the display" - No there is not....   Is there a red ready light on the front ?? Yes.... Did this problem occur after cleaning ??? NO ... It happened after I filled the Reservoir ....  Am I sure there is not error code or Message on the Display ?? Nope - nothing but the RED Ready/Power Light,,,,   Ok - they ask "Was this an Amazon purchase?" - yes it was,,, can I give them the Order number, ??  OK - it takes me a minute to go back to 2020 and get the Amazon order number,,,, and Date that I ordered ,... They confirm that yes,, they can see the date - October 2020...  they Say - "Ok - WE will ship you a new one to the Address on the Order" ... Wait =  WHAT ?!?!?!?!    Do you want to trouble shoot this unit more ? I ask - NOPE - no reason to waste time doing that !!  Ok - have a good afternoon - BYE !

36 hours later - Yesterday afternoon - a New Humidifier shows up near my Back door !!!  

HOLY SHIT  !!  This Never happens to me !!!
