the AX handle

Walmart the massive marketing GIANT has decided to reduce the Thanksgiving dinner package for $39.92.....  thats a good thing - it is good food - they say will feed 10 people,,,, and it's reasonable...

this is what you get  :

  • Butterball Turkey, 13.5 lb. ($0.97/lb. — lowest price since 2019)
  • Kinder’s Fried Onions, 4.5 oz.
  • Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup, 10.5 oz. (1 can)
  • Stove Top Turkey Stuffing, Twin Pack 2 x 6 oz.
  • Great Value Dinner Rolls, 12 ct.
  • Fresh Russet Potatoes, 5 lb.
  • Fresh Cranberries, 12 oz.
  • Great Value Baby Carrots, 2 lb.
  • Great Value Corn, 15 oz. (3 cans)
  • Great Value Green Beans, 14.5 oz. (3 cans)
  • Great Value Artisan Macaroni & Cheese, 12 oz. (3 boxes)
  • Great Value Brown Gravy Mix, 0.87 oz. (2)
  • Great Value Pie Crusts
  • Great Value Evaporated Milk, 12 fl. oz.
  • Great Value 100% Pure Pumpkin, 15 oz.

I'll be a be cynical here and say that it is so inexpensive even their employees can probably afford it !!!

Let's say what it is NOT ..  it is not the 2024 meal...  the 2024 meal was ~$55 - still a good deal...  the 2024 meal had 21 items - the 2025 meal - 16 from my count..
and let's not be stupid here - you shop every week. You know that prices ae higher ,, higher now than a year ago,.....
beef, chicken, eggs, coffee, apples, and avocados, along with general increases across categories like beverages, dairy, and cereals  - all higer now than in 2024...

and FAT nixon goes on an announces that the Walmart meal is his doing - BUT that the higher price Items - oh he has nothing to do with that...   and talks like he has EVER been inside a grocery store - like he has ever shopped for anything in his fucking life,.... Imagine that never ever shopped for damn near any thing,,,  never got gas at a pump... never brought groceries in from the trunk and put them away in the Cupboard....  let's not pretend he is today or has ever been like us -   just because the AX handle is wood - it is not the friend of the trrees....
