RE: Tariffs. ..... a  tariff is a tax charged on goods as they pass between one country and another.  and Countries don't pay Tariffs - the Person or Company that imports the goods DO.

25% on Canadian and Mexican imports - (10% on Canadian energy sources) and 10% on China...

The president-elect (at the time - December of 2024 )  has argued his tariff plan for his next term could bring in revenue to help defray the cost of income tax cuts.   and  Trump has also repeatedly argued his tariff plan will help protect U.S. companies. And reduce or eliminate the taxes that we pay to the IRS

What ?  - you don't Remember.  He said " We're going back to the old days. No income tax, just tariffs. It worked before, and it'll work again," Trump said during a January 25 event in Las Vegas, Nevada. He emphasized his point by adding, "The IRS is a disaster. We don't need it. Tariffs will fund everything we need and more."  this was just back in January -  President-elect the FELON.   announced plans to create a new agency called the External Revenue Service to collect tariffs and other revenues from foreign nations.   

SO - Defray the #1 to reduce /eliminate the Cost of Income tax ,  #2  - Protect US companies by balancing trade between the countries,  #3 - Reduce Crime and lastly - #4 Stem the import of Dangerous drugs....   and NOW - it's only Fentanyl - No mention in the TRUTH (f-ing LIAR) social posts about American companies or trade imbalance or Reducing our Income taxes -- ONLY Fentanyl... 

 get your SPIN MACHINE CRANKED UP - he says he had conversations with Trudeau of Canada and now  they are going to spend $1.3 Billion dollars  and reinforce the border with Choppers  and technology and personnel.......  WOW - what a negotiator!!! oh wait,  Canada announced that plan  December 17th 2024.  Go ahead and Google NEWS RELEASE Public Service Canada December 17 2024. 

and then for Mexico - The Defendant Felon says that they  - Mexico -  will supply 10,000 Mexican soldiers to the Border separating the US and Mexico.........  Again what a master negotiator ..  Hummm heard this before have you ?? YUP - in April of 2021 --- that's 2021....   Mexico agreed to maintain a deployment of 10,000 troops at the Border ..........

No mention of Balancing any trade imbalance, helping US companies, ,,,, NO word on reducing the Income tax and establishing an External revenue service - WHOOSH !  FAT NIXON fooled you again !!
