Modern Life and

If you are one of those folks who thinks that Modern life is better than it was hundreds of years ago,,, I beg to differ,,,, Ok,, so we have running water, and indoor potties,,, but really , all this Cell phone,, Instant Messaging,,, Mobile computing,, Text messaging,,etc etc,,,, geez,,, to be - literally - available 24x7 is just not healthy,,,

Ok,,so the Microwave, and the MP3 player are extensions of our Modern life style,,, and folks so hooked to the Blackberry that they are constantly "in touch"... A voice heard in an otherwise empty Men's room at 4:30 in the morning , until I realize that the guy in the Stall is on his GD Cell Phone,,, ok so #1 Mark rule,,, If I call and you are in the can,,,,, Let Voice mail pick it up !!

Barack Omama says he for change,,,, hummm so,,, How about goin back to simpler days,,, Getting our news from the NEWS Paper, or the Huntly-Brinkly report on the 6 O'clock news,,, Instant Messaging was when you ACTUALLY talked to your neighbor,, Milk you could get from the Machine on the corner for a Quarter a Quart,,, We watched Red Skelton, and Ed Sullivan,,, Ok,, Maybe too nostalgic,, but you get the idea ,,, not all these things that are meant to make our lives better are actually BETTER,,, There is no conclusion here,,, and we can't get into Doc Brown's Delorian, and go Back in time,,,,, Just maybe - Keep those thoughts of yesterday in mind,,, and Give me a break with all this Technology that I love so much,,,,

and if that's not enough for ya,,, I "borrowed" this list of Future inventions ...
