Did you know that FACEBOOK - with all it's security problems - and other Privacy issues does a decent job of something,,, at least in my opinion,...
IF you block a contact - ie you go to that little downward pointing triangle in the top right corner and click it... Then click Setting and Privacy, them on the FAR left side (and yea they make it tricky to do some of this) on the FAR left you will see "BLOCKING" about half way down the screen .... you click that - and you can BLOCK any user ..... and if you have it will show you the list of names you have blocked... FB tells you this about Blocking.
"Once you block someone, that person can no longer see things you post on your timeline, tag you, invite you to events or groups, start a conversation with you, or add you as a friend. Note: Does not include apps, games or groups you both participate in."
What it also does - and FB does not tell you this ..."You and the blocked person will not find the profiles for each other even if you search for the names on Facebook’s search bar."
Meaning what - ??
If you block someone from seeing YOU - FB blocks YOU from seeing them.. WHOOSH !

Now - I admit that I ride my bike and I walk on the Rail Trail with No mask - we can debate later if you think I should have one.... but here is an example of DOH ! do you understand what you are doing !!?!?? As I approach some people,,,, Does not matter if I'm on Wheels or Heels - They have the Mask on their Chin or in their hand, and they put it up on their face as I Pass - and Immediately remove it as I am pass along side them.. Ok if they are wearing the mask for ME..... I am traveling into air they just exhaled - so the mask does no good to only be worn as I pass.. SAME if they are wearing the mask to- they think -protect themselves,,, they are passing into air that I just exhaled , sneezed into , couched into.... so dropping the Mask immediately as we pass does not do shit for them !!! And this matter not - if I am passing them from behind,,, or Passing them FACE to FACe across the 10 foot wide Rail trail...
Have you seen me lately ???? If not - I am down about 50 pounds since January 29th - hen I got some "bad" blood work... Since , my blood pressure and pulse has dropped,,, my A1C went down to under 5 and a half... I do seem to be Stuck at this weight - just under 200 - but am not sure I can eat less , or exercise more... biggest change has been adding Fruits and Vegetables to my eating, eating less (smaller portions) , cooking almost everything fresh ,,,, and we bought Traeger Grill - that is amazing,,, makes everything taste great,,, and you can't burn anything !!! You sorta get three Grills in one,,, you can smoke anything ! at low temps 180 - 225 for a long time , several hours if needed,,, you can use it a s Bake oven from say that 250 degrees to 375,,, or crank it up to hight - 450 and Grill away like normal grill except with that great smoke flavor added to everything ! OK - Traeger advertisement over !! I'm not in Any Running shape yet,, and do not expect to be able to run - but Continue to work on Jogging a few half miles on my say - every other day 5-6 mile walks... admit-tingly have some back pain from walking biking or working,,, and for the Majority of days not taking those Tylenol to quiet it....
I - like everyone else - am wondering then Things will get back to "normal" or what that normal will look like, I'm not ready to get on a plane yet to travel anywhere....

Whoa - so as of today the Death toll is near 155 Thousand people ,,, and cases are rising to the nearly 5 million level. THIS IS NOT A RESULT OF MORE TESTING !!!
so about 500 people per million of Population die in the United States... and we add about a thousand people a day to the death list, yet ; the POTUs says "it is what it is " And NO we do not have a plan at the National level for Testing or Response to the Virus.... Now - not that we would want to be South Korea BUT - the WHO reports that South Korea has had 301 deaths .... yup 301.... and let's compare - they are a nation of 50 million... we are a nation of 330 Million,... so some simple math would say that we are 6.5 times larger than they are,,, so that 301 would be 1980 deaths,,,, and we have what 155,000 ??? Something is wrong. And While Rump is not responsible for the virus - He IS responsible for lack of National response, and the Economic problems that it has caused and continues to cause in this country.
Secondly - although it is great to see baseball back - the Season is a Joke ! Truncated to 60 games ! Expanded rosters. Switching schedules - seems to be a daily occurrence depending what team has tested positive for the Covid - 19
So while you are so worried about COVID -19 that you looked the other way and this fucking thing - a Tick borne Disease that essentially destroys blood cells - Babesiosis invades your body. It is caused by microscopic parasites that infect red blood cells and are spread by certain ticks. Similar symptoms - Severe Headache, Elevated temp - 103 ! , Nausea, no Appetite, - 5 Negative Covid Tests , finally someone looks in another direction ,, and Whoosh .... Now we can get back to Our Semi- Normal kinda life.... One of the Foundations of this nation is Free , and Open elections, and then the Peaceful transition of Power from one President to the next..... The Loser concedes the election to the winner. No Civil War , No military actions, no Power grab/ Take over... it is one of the things that sets this Great Nation apart from many others in this world. So it is unimaginable that a sitting President would chose to say that he May not accept the Election Results - IF her Loses reelection !! What would that mean ? He would not vacate the office? He would intentionally drag the country thru a Court Fight to maintain Power ? He would the the country apart to server his own agenda ? I have said for several years that the POTUS would mean the end of the Republic that we know as the United States of America if he was there for another 4 years. and now I suppose that is possible that he would destroy this country if he NOT there for another 4 years.

So with just 2 of us - really - to cover what I will call the "afternoon" hours at the Marina.. those hours that are either a 2:30p - 8:30p or the Noon - 8:30p... If , as in this week, one of needs time off for a vacation or a personal issue - like the other guys has this week,.... I will be covering all the ours from Monday thru Saturday - so working 6 days out of the next 6 days,,, there will be a respite at the other side of three days off,,, He covered for me last year (with one other person) when I was away for 16 days,,, so it's the least I can do for him..... SO starting today - off we go on 6 days on a row,,, Being thankful that most of them are 6 hour shifts.....
Just when you think things cannot get worse- the POTUS commutes the Sentence of Roger Stone - now to remind you Stone was CONVICTED on several Felony counts of LYING to Congress. and what were the Subject of the Lies ?? Why his involvement with WIKILEAKS and him then protecting the POTUS !! Essentially Lying to Congress to protect the President. Stone has said himself that he was hoping for a Pardon because in his words" I could have Turned on the President , making things worse for him and better for me" WHAT !! The "turned on the President" line mean that he has additional info that he lied about to keep secret ?? and impinge upon the Congressional investigation ? oh Great - and then the POTUS - essentially frees him..... This in a trial when the Judge said "He was not prosecuted, as some have complained, for standing up for the president. He was prosecuted for covering up for the president." The Politicians that are pushing opening of their states despite the Horrific virus numbers , should be legally held responsible for the Damage that their decisions are causing. Now - they cannot and are not responsible for the COVID-19 virus - NO ,... however , when you are the one telling people that it is ok to do this or that,, and act in a way that ignores Science and the result is that people get sick and DIE , how is it you are not responsible for that ! I do not like to talk about me..... I really don't; however - here is a quick update... I'm down 41 pounds since my January 29th Dr appt. I was surprised in that I figured it was easier to lose weight when you are heavier ,, but I had the same rate of loss over the past 3 months as I did for the 1st three months - if that makes sense..... BP is down but not low enough ... a 135 / 74 I guess needs to be under,, but we are not doing any meds to get it there,,,, We are eating better then we ever have - EVER... making all fresh... no canned / bagged/ prepared foods... and we have only eaten out food twice since January... Chinese once and pizza with the boys another time.
Work is gonna be the main deal for the next week plus,, although I will get three days off this weekend,,,, I'll be at the Marina, Wednesday & Thursday - 12 - 8:30 ,,, Monday, Tuesday - 2:30 - 8:30... Wednesday & Thursday - 12 - 8:30 then Friday and Saturday 2:30 - 8:30.
We have a set of metal stairs to install and a rail on that deck to finish, Some sanded plywood to install inside a porch to cover some wiring,,, Stone to deliver and spread, could have several separate shed to rood and side - that I hope can wait till later this month or early August. This is to say nothing of some stuff I need to get down around here.... SO - yea I AM BUSY !!
If you did not know - nearly anything / Everything you was gonna do in 2020 has now been moved to 2021.... get used it - and Fuckin -A despite what the WH and the Big OLE JERK that some think is the president... we are not in good shape... we have not flattened the Curve ,,, and we do not have control of this Pandemic,,, Exactly the opposite. is true .,,, ALL the Curves from Texas, Florida, Georgia, look about like this,,, and BTW if they try to gaslight you into thing that this all a result of Testing,,, why are hospital Rates going up like this also ?? What are many hospitals in these states getting over whelmed with patients, their ICU beds are at capacity, the DR's need to make determination as to who lives and who dies, by what their prognosis is ?? Cause the Increased testing this is BULL SHIT ....
