If you have not seen "The Power of Song" you should go rent it or find it,,,, it is an excellent story of Pete's life,,,, and I always think it ironic that when Pete was banned from appearing on TV,,, and most other places would not book him,, or the Weavers , the only audience he could get was at Schools,,, So he sang his songs for Elementary and Middle school children,,, and GREATLY influenced the lives of those children,,, - that would have never happened without him being "Black Listed" and those children grew up listening to Seeger music,, years later .. protesting the war, and working for Cleaner rivers, and starting the whole Ecology movement ,,,, Damn Hippies ! Any way this song reminds me of that...

I am convinced that some of us,,, have NO Talent,,, can't sing,, Dance, Act, Play and Instrument,, Can barely pay attention !! Is it that we cannot be taught,,, maybe we (I) can - take lessons to learn these crafts,,, and I for one would give near anything to play an instrument. ,

But I am here today to tell you why NO ARTtsy talent exists in many of us.,....

Some people are hogging it !!! The creator - has One talent to give to each of us,,, but some people are greedy,,, they need to take more than one,,, leaving others of us without ! Bastards!

Examples - you are From Missouri? and need to be Shown,,,, Ok,,Let's start with Liz Berlin,,, plays with a band called Rusted Root - Nancy''s FAV ! HA! - Liz can play Guitar, electric, and Acoustic, Mandolin, UKE, Washboard, percussion, Drums, sing and song write ! ,, that leaves like 6 other people Barren of talent !

example 2 - Hugh Laurie - Accomplished Piano player,,, Guitar player, Actor, Writer, etc,,

and example Gary Shelby Foote - Gary is the Percussionist in Joan Armatradings Band,,, I have seen the man play many different instruments,,, but the Drumming and playing the percussion, and a HORN at the same time,, now that's just showing off !!!
