OK - First:
Dumpo while campaigning - his Quote on Venezuela's oil
"Their oil is garbage, it's horrible, the worst you can get. And now we're buying oil from Venezuela, can you believe it? We have more liquid gold under our feet than any other nation but we're buying tar from Venezuela and we're refining it in Houston. The dirtiest, worst oil probably anywhere in the world. We go to Venezuela to get their tar".
and NOW ??? his estimation of Venezuela’s fossil fuel reserves appears to have shifted. As he stated in a Tuesday post on social media, their oil is WHAT ??? oh yea !! “High Quality” oil.
hummm - something must have changed??
and let's digest the latest LIES...
1st up = dumpo says...."Our giant oil companies will be spending at least $100 billion of their money, not the government's money … to rebuild the capacity and the infrastructure necessary,"
what are the Oil companies saying ???
"ConocoPhillips continues to monitor developments in Venezuela and their potential implications for global energy supply and stability,"
“I do not see a compelling business case for any US-based company to invest billions of dollars over years to decades to try to turn a profit in Venezuelan oil,”
“If we look at the commercial constructs and frameworks in place today in Venezuela, today it’s un-investable,” said Darren Woods, ExxonMobil CEO.
so there's that......
and LIE #2 - Pervert Hoover said. "When you add Venezuela and the United States together, we have 55% of the oil in the world."
NOPE - Venezuela has ~18% and the US 2% ... yup - Venezuela has a potential for more -= but that's the numbers for today...
and #3 ---- that his Drill Baby Drill strategy is working,,,
The U.S. has fewer active oil rigs than a year ago, ,,,,, recent reports showing a slight uptick in some areas but overall lower numbers compared to early 2025. For example, in early January 2026, the oil rig count was around 409, which is down substantially from roughly 482 a year prior.
oh and lest we forget ... that the GRifter in Chief did this,,,,,,,,,,
EnergyTrump pressed oil executives to give $1 billion for his campaign, people in industry say
"This is a scandal" and "an indictment of the system" — but probably legal, one legal watchdog told POLITICO.
