25% increase to goods from Mexico and Canada - yea that'll drive down the cost of living...

 “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States.....,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.  

SO Stock up now - before we get to the FIND OUT stage on January 21st...

hummm  - what does Mexico  import to  the US ??

Vehicles - nearly 20% of the Vehicel sold in the US come from Mexico - Automobile manufacturers such as General Motors, Nissan,  Volkswagen, KIA, Mazda, Toyota, Audi ,  Honda and FCA Mexico - that is some of  Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Mopar, Ram, and Mitsubushi and parts for those Auto makers, Form Motor company, 

Auto parts and Equipment -  Including Farm Equipment - these companies include all of the above ...

Electronics and Appliances - Computers, Monitors, Cell Phones, Refriderators,a nd Air Conditioners

Crude OIL exports - nearly 50% of their crude OIL comes to the US ....  

Medical Instruments - to the tune of ~$12 Billion dollarr

Beer 

Plastic parts and items too numberous to even start to mention

Gems and Precious metals, - 

Vegetables -  our 2nd largest supplier - we spend 2 Billion on Tomatoes alone....

Fruits and Nuts  - Mexico Guatemala,  Costa Rico account for 75% of our imports


And Canada :

  • Oils, minerals, lime, and cement
    In 2022, this was the top commodity sector imported from Canada, accounting for 36.2% of the total
  • Humm  What do use Lime and Cement for????   BUILDING !!  yes we have a winner
  • Transportation equipment
    In 2022, this was the second-largest commodity sector imported from Canada, accounting for 11.6% of the total.  
  • Read that as Automobiles, Aircraft Engines, 
  • Chemicals, plastics, rubber, and leather goods
    In 2022, this was the third-largest commodity sector imported from Canada, accounting for 10.2% of the total. 
  • Wood, cork, paper, and printed books
    In 2021, the U.S. imported almost half of its total wood, cork, paper, and printed books from Canada. 
  • WOOD?!?!?  
  • Base metals, iron, steel, and tools
    In 2021, the U.S. imported 20.6% of its total base metals, iron, steel, and tools from Canada. 
  • Metals , Iron , Steel??? 

  • Vegetable products
    Canada is the fourth-largest contributor of vegetable products to U.S. imports.

  • Foodstuffs
    The U.S. imports a variety of foodstuffs from Canada, including pasta, canned soup, maple syrup, and chocolate.
