 I think we - as even casual football fans are missing the big picture here. While I know that the easily triggered conservatives are focused on Taylor Swift - yea  - her/ Jesus  can we let go of that already.. Who cares if her boyfriend is Travis Kelce ?  - Exactly nearly no-one.

the Chiefs have beaten 3 very good football teams to get where they are. They had an 11 and 6 record in the AFC - that was good enough to win the AFC west .. The Ravens at 13 and 3 were the toast of the AFC and got a first round bye (aka did not play in the Wild card round)  ...   The Chiefs hosted the Dolphins - that were also 11 and 6 - the Fins finished 2nd in the AFC East - and because they lost to the Bills in the last week of the season had to go on the road instead of Hosting the Game in Miami-  and even though the game was on a pay network - so I did not see it... they -  the Chiefs beat the Dolphins - 26 to 7.... then they had to go on the Road and play the Bills in Buffalo - they won that game - 27 - 24... then they had to go to Baltimore and play the #1 seed - the Ravens - and they won that game 17 - 10 .  Pretty darn good - 3 games - 2 on the road... and the Conference Championship in Baltimore against who everyone thought was the Odds on Favorite to get to the Super bowl...

 The Governor of South Dakota - Kristi Noem - said that Texas and the Original  13 colonies would have never signed the Constitution of they thought that the right to protect themselves would not be protected....Let that one sink in a minute.....   A) the Gov of South Dakota travels to the Texas Border to talk about this ....  on the dime of the State of SD - clearly  a stunt to try to get favor with the Loser President  and try to get to be his VP choice . B) The US Constitution was ratified by 2/3's of the then Colonies ,,,,in 1788 - June 21.... C) Fucking Texas did not become a state until December 29, 1845 - 57 years LATER !!!!  - We need to stop electing STUPID PEOPLE !!

The Senate - has been and is working on a deal to address the Southern Border.  YES _ long overdue. It is being negotiated by  3 people - a Republican, a Democrat and an Independent.  The deal - sets up some limits on daily inclusions, and gives the POTUS to authority to shutdown the Border when the Limits are hit. Biden has indicated not only will he sing it , he will use it to shutdown the Border if/When those limits are reached - exactly what the GOP wants BTW....   But the traitor and mouth puppet of Dump - Mike Johnson- says that the Deal is dead on arrival in the House.  WHY ?? One reason  ....  Orange Jesus Loser - says he does not want a deal on the Border because he wants to use it to campaign  against Biden (does not want to give the POTUS a WIN)   The GOP could not care less about the US , the Constitution, the Border , the Economy, the Military and any thing else - they have not solutions to anything, they Continually vote against things that will help the People fo the US - they vote against them cause they are inept in coming up with solutions to any problems.

Large Waiting area  - I sit in the center chair of a 5 chair row - , older man to my left,  black guy to my right both seated in the end seats.  Across from us is a near 80 couple - thats what they said later in the convo.. the man  is sketching  on a pad a remarkable likeness of the bearded guy sitting a row behind us. Obviously an artist of some sort.....  The lady is reading a magazine like thing that you might pick up at a tourist stop - with local ads and maybe a story or two about the area...  she puts that back in the large purse she is carrying and picks up her Cell phone : let the Games Begin....

The guy to my left says to the lady : "used to be you had to read to get any information,, and now that - he points to the phone - is the replacement.... she agrees, and they including the guy sketching - launch into a conversation about how great is was growing up in the time that they did, and that they had dinner together, and went to church on Sunday... and how awful it is today that "these KIDS" just use their phones for everything , and how texting is taking over the world....

Then the guy next to me says  " you know they are giving 4 new phones to all these illegal  immigrants that are coming to the country "  - "And these Illegals are using them to hack into our bank accounts and sending all our money to China ! " - yup !  6 million people  got of 'em last week !

He has stated degrading her by name calling - he used her real first name.. Nimarata - but typed Nimrada...  obvioulsy on purpose.  And then he pulled out the Birther Bull shit. Trump last week used his Truth Social account to spread a recent Substack post by a pro-Trump 2022 law school graduate arguing that Haley can’t be president because her parents weren’t yet U.S. citizens at the time of her birth.  She was born in the United States of America - so this is tottatlylworong - however this - like nearly anything he says - the MAGGATS eat up - like it came from the burning bush ... they dont care if it's a lie. 

IF and its still a big IF - Haley beats Trump in New Hampshire things will really get crazy - because he has pontificated all along that he has this huge lead in the GOP primary.  and also because the next primary is South Carolina -  yes - that's the same South Carolina that Haley was the Governor of so she might have some advantage in what used to be her home state...  Polls in New Hampshire show Dump ~5 points ahead of Haley there,...

A) a regular day tourist visit (that people get killed at,  I guess)

Let's move on to the Hunter Biden subpoena to testify before Congress..  the Republicans have been salivating for months to get him to do this...  S0, Hunter kinda calls their bluff... he says sure - I'll come testify - in a PUBLIC held hearing so that the American people can hear exactly what goes on (oh and I'm sure part of his motivation was so that the Republicans could not spin into their version what he said in what they want is a Secret behind closed doors testimony) and then the GOP says - whoa  no no no no - We don't want that - we are going to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for refusing the Subpoena..  HERE IS WHERE THIS GOES OFF THE FUCKING RAILS !!

Quiz time :  Question - Name any - if there are any - Members of Congress that refused to comply with a Congressional subpoena recently (like the last 5 years or so )

What have they been doing - weeks trying elect Kevin McCarthy as the Speaker of the house. Spinning the committees into Trump legal defense - The oversight Committee pretending that Hunter Biden is the biggest issue facing Americans, and up to now the false accusations that they are trying to mold into an Impeachment hearing - although even they have admitted they need the hearing to determine if there was any wrong doing - like bringing a criminal into court to hold a trial to see what he / she might have done that they they could be charged with !

Lets talk about this border crisis that the GOP is so concerned about ... 

Republicans have an “anti-border security record” because they obstructed President Biden’s proposals and voted against border security funding. Consistently voting against any funding or proposals from the Whitehouse. They - the GOP - has proposed to CUT funding of Border  security, and reduce the number of Agents currently employed to guard the border. 

Biden has requested $13.6 billion in emergency funds to hire nearly 6,000 immigration and border security-related employees at DHS and the Justice Department , but to date no acion by the House of Representatives.  Hell- do you remember back to the Obama administration - he asked them point black to come up with a proposal to cure the border Issues and they refused,,, WHY - because its great talking point - like many many issues - the GOP has no solutions,,, they are not interested in Fixing ANYTHING- they just want to make it a political football and try to bash the administration with it.  

Godfather remake in the Supreme Court

 I think we are about to see  a remake of a scene from the Godfather , where Frank Pentangele's brother comes from Sicily to Washington DC where Frank is about to give testimony in front of Congress that will incriminate Michale Corleone.  Pentangele's brother says nothing - only needs to show his face to have a Huge impact on the case - and then Frank says that he made up all the evidence about Michael Corleone. 

The former POTUS is going to show up at the Supreme court where they are hearing an appeal by him about the Colorado court using the 14th amendment to take him off the primary ballot. The appeal lists  many many reasons for the appeal - and sites that the Colorado court does not have the authority to remove him - only the US Supreme court does.  It seems that this is the so called "Kitchen sink" approach - throw everything at the wall (including the Kitchen sink) and see what sticks.....He does not need to attend.  I think he plans to attend so that he can look the Justices that he believes he has in his pocket  - Barrett, Thomas , Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Alito, and by that look remind them who it was that paid for them...   Now there are many reasons listed in the appeal - so that these justices can overturn the Colorado decision   without ever getting near the decision of IF Dump is an insurrectionist. 

I think it is pretty clear at this point that the Courts and not necessarily the Supreme court will do far more in the determination of the GOP Presidential candidate than any primary or convention.  We may well have a person convicted of a Federal  felony as the nominee from the Republican party. Imagine that ... a Convicted FELON on the ballot for president.   Its possible that if/when he is convicted - some or many people that say they are voting for him - simply will not - they might not vote for Biden - but they go into the voting booth or fill out a ballot  and not enter a vote for president.

Hunter Biden is found guilty of federal crimes - and is pardoned by his father - after the election.
