Sometimes buying things from BIG BOX stores just sucks,,,,, and Ill say mostly if they don't have what you bought in stock - and BTW - most don't
Now the next door neighbor has had great luckin getting items delivered then next day,,, Refrigerator, stove , microwave, washer dryer.
WE purchased a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher on March 27th - there were two options for delivery - the next day to my house for $40,.... or pcik up at the store for free,even though I have to go down 501 towards the beach - ok I'll save the $40 and pick it up , myself - the pick up date was April 2nd....
The Lowes websire lets you track - sort of - the delivery - with just the status of - order complete - no shit sherlock - then order shipped - then "in transit" but - i guess its Lowes transit cause no UPS or FED ex tracking number...... after it showed IN TRANSIT all day on the 2nd - at 8pm or so it showed DELAYED,,,,
went to Lowes the next day,,,, 1st lady at the service desk - after I explain that the order was to be delivere don April 2nd, and it showed delayed on their web site,,,, she types in my phone number as tells me -"this order is delayed in transit" I say ummmm. I already told you that ,,,,, she calls over another lady - I explain to her - the order shows delayed yadda yadda - she says - "we don''t have this in stock"......... umm again - I can see this - she says - it's delayed in transit,,,, and it's going to be delivered on April 2nd... I say - yea - that was yesterday - oh right she says,,,, ahhh I can see its delayed - but I dont see from where its being shipped or when it might arrive,.... I say - when I bought this there were two options for delivery - the next day to my house for $40,.... or pick up at the store for free.. she rolls her eyes - and says - You know now that the next delivery would not have happened,,, now - she does look at other stores in what she calls "her district" - and there are none of these dishwashers in stock at any of them,,, ,, I say ok - give me a minute - I look at the Orange store and every other LOWES and nope - none..... she tells me only stores are in North Carolina that stock one..... OK - so here we are on Monday awaiting a delivery to the Lowes store in Conway , that I am betting right now - NEVER HAPPENS..
I also need to tell you that every time you log into the LOWES site- it says - can't complete transaction with my userid and password , and either texts me or emails me a 6 digit code to enter - when you do that it asks if you want to set up the account so you just use your USERID and password - ummmmm WHAT?!?!?

Other news - Ordered 2 bathroom faucets from the Orange store - AKA - Home Depot - that was on April 1st - that was noonish on that date - at 2:05 pm - it notifies me that they shipped,,, Out for delivery on April 3 at 10AM... and Delivery was 5:05pm that day.... Whoosh ,...
