Today - The Supreme court will rule on  The 14th Amendment relevant to birthright citizenship is the Citizenship Clause, which reads: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.". 

WE should see - later today - how far the Supreme court is willing to go to destroy the Constitution - IMHO - this is the tip of the Iceberg - IF they overturn this - an amendment o the Constitution - then i Cannot even imagine what will come next - you already know that the Bought and paid for Justices - Thomas and Alito will vote to allow the POTUS to just change the constitution where he doesn't like it....  we will see how many others will join them  - adn how many will stand with the Constitution.... 

and just like that - the corrupt Curt has  started the destruction of the Republic...

We will NEVER recover from this,,,,

 Let's talk honestly - DO you really think that we as a nation can recover from the current Regime and thier policies. ??

First - It has not even been 6 Months of the Dump administration, and he and his MAGA nut jobs have managed to tank the Economy ,  Take away more and more rights that we have had as a Republic fot over 200 years, Dishonored us on the world stage to the point ht we are a laughing stock among other nations,  Talk of taking Greenland, and making Canada the 51st state. Taking Healthcare from Millions, defunding programs that help the poor and underprivileged people - destroying the Government from within in the name of refueling the pockets of Billionaires,  Defunding programs that will KILL Children, and seniors,   appointing all these totally unqualified people to very important positions that used to secure our Health and safety and support our military - but now onl look to bend the knee and kiss the ring of the Orange Jesus.  ICE agents and Masked , unidentified individuals kidnapping immigrants off our streets and out of their homes - Not violent criminals as they said but working people , men and women ,  transporting them and incarcerating them in forgien prisions that are = as the administrator has admitted are out the reach of our justice system and out of the view of the free press.  Talking about american Free Press as the Enemy of the state and using the same terms about anyone that dares to disagree with them or offer a conflicting viewpoint to the FAT NIXON's agenda.  Handing out talking points and pretending that those talking points are government policy -  LYING LYING LYING at every turn, and the doubling down on those lies when they are caught in them.   Sewing division into the US .vs THEM mentality.  Taking responsibility for NOTHING - it's always always, Biden or Obama or Clinton. NO member of the House or Senate staining. up and says Enough in F-ing Enough !  Calling for the Arrest, impeachment and/or deportation of those judges and elected officials that dare to even question them.  Giving us BS about states rights on the one hand and on the other looking to Authariting rule - see also - deploying the Military to LA to act against   AMERICAN CITIZENS !!   Using what is now a Extremely corrupt Supreme court to backing  their play at nearly every turn - supporting the POTUS to the disreguard of the LAW... 

Even of he was to leave office this afternoon - How long  ?  IF EVER -  do you think it would take for the Country to recover from just over 5 months of Tyranny ...???

WTF ?!?!?!  in History ???  I think the folks around the Manhattan project , D-Day - oh yea that D-Day,   and the Killing of Osama bin Laden to name a few that I can think of sitting here....   And Obliterated  - I think the ENTIRE cabinet got an Email that said they would get a bonus - maybe Trumpo Steaks - every time they use that word in the next week !!!

Homan - the so called Border Czar now thinks the border extends to NYC after the Democratic primary there had a guy win that he dont like, the Guy that supports destroying families, deporting Parents cause the broke the law by entering country illegally - a Civil charge - not criminal ...  and  we are spose to feel bad that he is being criticized by others on the left to the point he can't live with his family anymore - now no-one is suggesting violence against him and certainly not his familiy - but seroiusly - we are spose to feel bad for him ???

Bessent - thinks people that need help from the government to simply exist are LAZY .....that we should remove Federal assistance from them - LAZY>?!?!?  and  he works for guy that plays golf 25 % of the days since his inauguration in January - the WORLD burns = and the economy tanks , and Dumpo grifts money and Bessent thinks that folks that need a little hep TO SURVIVE -

I am more and MORE sceptical that we can ever recover fro what has gone on the past 150+ days - to say nothing of the Ongoing damage that is being done every day - and will continue mostly unchecked for the next THREE AND A HALF YEARS 

etiquette in Pickleball - really ???

 ok  - there has been discussion in a Pickleball group I follow about Court and play etiquette..

The subjects were Poaching  and Group of 4 playing together... and I am commenting on these as it is REC CENTER  - aka  Friendly play..aka = not tournament play... 

A) Poaching - this happens in every game - and I think when you can do it a - it is a good strategy.  Your opponent is waiting for the ball to be hit by player A - but player B jumps across and returns it instead - many times it has been successful - as they are not ready for the ball... and yep it has happened to me more times than I care to say - HOWEVER - this discussion was about one player constantly taking the ball  that is headed to  their partner  - to the point the partner and at times even the other team - says " hey - you gonna let me/them  play - or you taking all the shots " - now I guess it was directed to a younger and maybe more skilled playeer - but IMHO that makes it worse...  There is no Trophy to be gained here ...  NO checks handed out at the end of the day....   if you want to go get balls you think the other can't get - thats ONE OR TWO - fine,.  but this is REC Play - let it go =  think how it makes the other player feel .  when even being called out for it , and being spoken to by other players does not make you stop  - then I hate that the solution might be - NOPE - NO one is playing with them - wanna be a one person team - go hit balls by yourself.....  

I am going to expand this Poaching discussion to one team continually peppering the "weaker" player - again - Friendly play - NOT tournament.  I witnessed a few pissed off players when the opponents continually hit the ball to theless experienced player .  I gotta ask - If you do that .. Is that really fun for you ?? that whoa - you can slam the ball past a less experienced player ....   BFD..... and what fun for them ?? did someone do that to you when you were learning ?? when you were the less experienced player  ?? Gimme a break -   If you really are the more experienced player - act like it and get both of your opponents involved - 

 B) Group of four playing together ,... ok and I get it ...   your Group of four comes off the court and there are NOT  4 paddles in the next stack....   you don't wanna break up your 4 ....  OK - but 1) you DO NOT get to jump the line.... if there ain't 4 - then the court stays open till the next game ends that has a player or Players willing to join the less than 4 paddles waiting - too bad if a cour t has to stay open.   and I get it - you want to play competitive games - every game ....   and frankly no matter what skill level you are - or think you are - I have Questions.,....    Are you on the Pro Pickleball Tour ???  How long have you played this game. ??? a year - 2 years - or were you voted Ms/Mr Pickleball in your Grade-school Class ??  First day on the court you knew the rules,,, the scorings ? you were the one that defined Lobs and 3rd shot drops and you drew the first Kitchen line???  ya get my point. ?? as the kids say "you feel me" ??  NO ONE = NO ONE was born with a Joola Ben Johns in their hand....  everyone learned the game = so gimme a break - we have a responsibility to play games with players at all levels, and skills -  EVERY game ??  no - but enough games that others are included = and don't give advice or Coaching unless asked.,....   many players are just oth there to move and sweat a little , to get their heart pumping, and be part of the Group to converse and meet/greet others on a daily basis....  they might not be a 5.0 player and that is not their/our  goal.   i read a while back about - playing say 50-60 % of your games with people of equal skill level as yours,,,, and then 25-30 % of the games .vs people better than you - and the rest of players with skill level less that you (and maybe you work on drop shot or a lob or dinking in those games)  

and ok - let's talk about Unrequested  coaching  - Simple - DON'T DO IT !!!  - simple - DON'T do it ! keep your YAPP shut....

  If your partner asks you about where to stand or move ,, or how they can better return a shot,..  OK , thats your opportunity.. try criticizing your own play when you miss hit  a hit long or side out or into the net.   Saying things like "I know better than to make a full swing at a ball this close to the net - I know I should just kinda Punch it" or "darn - I need to get my paddle down close to the ground when that shot is returned high to the other side - man I gotta remember when their paddle goes up = mine needs to go down"  "whoa - they hit that serve hard - I have to take a step back from the End line so I can return it" ....  or darn it - look where I am - no man's land - I need to get closer to the Kitchen Line"   and like in managing people - sometimes the $hit Sandwich works best -  that's an improvement - sandwiched between two compliments..  "you really have that serve  down - you put it right in the  box every time .....  then remember the party is at the net - so when I move up - try to move up with me -  But keep getting that serve in - gives us great chance to win the point.. !!

And last night was awful - they had a man on 2nd in the bottom of the ninth via a Stanton double - Jazz strikes out - oh Doningues runs for Stanton - and why the hell isnt  Jazz taking a pitch or two to let the Martian steal 3rd - I have no clue - so K for Jazz - Volpe - on the craziest play hits the ball directly to 3rd exactly where Dominguez is sliding into 3rd - so he is OUT - 2 down - Volpe on 1st - Immediately steals 2nd - then - you you guessed it - Wells strikes out...

OK - lets go to the 10th - Wells is the ghost runner at 2nd - LeMahiue cannot get the bunt down  - and he Strikes out - then they pinch run Peraza for Wells - cause they did not move Wells to 3rd - Grisman flies  - moves Peraza to thrid Goldschmitt flies out - inning over.

A Shadow Administration - and Cabinet positions

 I've read about this idea of forming a "Shadow" Cabinet - a Subject matter Expert qualified for each  position in the Cabinet - U.S. Attorney General; Secretaries of Agriculture; Commerce; Defense; Education; Energy; Health and Human Services; Homeland Security; Housing and Urban Development; Interior; Labor; State; Treasury; Transportation..... It  might just be the method to fight back against the insane administrative policies  - the Democrats need to do something more substantial than each of them seemingly fighting a one person war against this  administration. This would give them a centralized group to highlight, rebuff and then communicate with the American people - sure nothing will turn the MAGAs (like the guy with the DUMPO swimsuit at the beach yesterday) but will serve as a Resistance group - communicating why the Administrations is out and out LYING !  and how their  policies are killing the Constitution, the Democratic Republic and the American people...

He was sentenced to 18 months and prison and had to pay restitution to the tune of over $4 million dollars - $4 million to pay back money that was stolen from his employees...... The judge that sentenced his said that this was a message that  "wealth was no get out of Jail free Card " BUT HOLD ON MINUTE  !!!   Paul petitioned the Dumpo administration for a Pardon - and hummm After his Mommy attended a Million Dollar a P late dinner at  home of the Grifter in Chief - Whoosh !!!!    Fat Nixon signs full and unconditional Pardon -  Not only does that mean no Prison time at all - he can keep the Money that he embezzled from his employees - so they - the employees  - are out what ever payments should have been made on their behalves to medicare and Social security - that Judge was WRONG - Wealth is a get out of Jail free Card... 

And not be out done --  Trump is pardoning Scott Jenkins, a former Virginia sheriff who was convicted of making several businessmen sworn law enforcement officers in exchange for cash bribes.

Former Culpeper County Sheriff Jenkins, 53, was found guilty on fraud and bribery charges and sentenced to 10 years in prison in March.  2 undercover  FBI agents got him on taking the bribes.Jenkins was indicted in 2023 on 16 counts. In December, a jury found Jenkins guilty of one count of conspiracy, four counts of honest services fraud and seven counts of bribery.  Federal prosecutors say Jenkins took $75,000 worth of bribes. He allegedly accepted cash and campaign contributions from eight people — including those two undercover FBI agents — and in return, gave them badges and made them auxiliary deputy sheriffs, despite not having any training or vetting. He also allegedly pushed officials to restore one bribe-payer's right to possess a gun as a convicted felon.   BUT - as a huge Supporter of the Orange Jesus's campaign -  he gets Full Pardon - and remember this a just one in a series of Pardons that Dumpo granted clemency to several other public officials. He pardoned Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was convicted of trying to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat, and Michelle Fiore, a Las Vegas politician and loyal Trump backer convicted of paying for plastic surgery and other personal expenses with money intended to build a statue for a slain police officer.    OH and over a thousand January 6th Convicted criminals - found guilty or  Pled guilty - and I thought we wanted Criminals off the street -    One question - ...  ARE WE GREAT YET ?!?!??

Savannah - their daughter is a Big time MAGA supporter, speaking at the Republican National convention and  have included some major players in Rump's orbit, including former federal prosecutor Brett Tolman, who helped win a pardon for Charles Kushner, the father of Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Alex Little, an attorney for the Chrisleys, said in an interview that he did not know why Trump chose to pardon his clients this week.  Yea Nothing to do with their daughter's Podcast in 100% support of Fat Nixon,,,,  nothing to see here --- move along

Lets dissect a few comments ,.  Recently from Moscow Mike Johnson - the Speaker of the house that history will show was the king Bootlicker of trumpos ,,  He said of the Bidens. “I’ll say that the reason many people refer to the Bidens as the ‘Biden crime family’ is because they were doing all this stuff behind curtains, but in the back rooms; they were trying to conceal it, .....  “Whatever  President Trump is doing is out in the open, they’re not trying to conceal anything.”

SO - if you are doing things to hide crimes (ok there is no proof of crime but the Republicans are neck deep in the Liar Liar pants on fire pool ) then you are corrupt - BUT BUT - if you are selling access to the Presendency and do it right out in the Open - then it's all legit. 

This is the Speaker of the House ...  and OH yea - a man that is quick to accuse the Democrats - including Biden of Crimes ,,  Johnson had fully supported the lengthy, and ultimately fruitless, impeachment inquiry into Biden but condemned Democrats who sought impeachment of Trump in 2019. It seems the issue is not the act but the man at the center.

A reporter reminded Johnson that there are  shady things happening behind closed doors in the Trump administration too, such as allowing more than 200 wealthy individuals to anonymously buy access to the White House by lining the president’s pockets.  And then the POTUS holding a dinner for the TOP money givers -  Then he said of Dumpos actions - “Look, there are authorities that—police, executive branch, ethics rules—I’m not an expert in that.   OH - NOW you are not an expert in that eh ?!?!?!?   This is how Democratic Republics sink into Authoritarian states and Dictatorships.... 

Then Karoline Levitt - the Whitehouse press Secretary - said that Dumpo was doing this dinner for highest Buyers of Fat Nixon's Meme coin- “Well as you know this question has been raised with the president. I have also addressed the dinner tonight; the president is attending it in his personal time, it is not a White House dinner, it is not taking place here at the White House,”   PERSONAL TIME -!?!?!?! - so is someone else President during those Hours ???  Asking for a Friend.....

The top 25 buyers will get an “ultra-exclusive private VIP reception” and “Special VIP Tour” with the president.   THAT's CALLED PLAY FOR PAY kids......   and so much for all the America First and full transparency Bullcrap = All of the donors/guests of this event will be completely anonymous, leading to legitimate questions about corruption and foreign influence, like the one Leavitt refused to answer. Many of the buyers are foreign, as well, based in countries like Singapore and Hong Kong—directly contradicting the “America First” narrative ...

Can't Stop - Won't Stop - Only YOU can prevent Fascism

 I was messaged recently from a very old friend of mine that I was overdoing the Resistance thing - and the Anti - administration Posts...     and the person indicated that I must not be very productive...

I spent nearly 50 years being "Productive" - all of my working life - managing a  Tire and Auto repair center, a Manager in a major computer company - IBM, and then a post working years job  workign for the State of NY at Norrie Point marina ....    I was productive at all these jobs...  NOW in retirement -  I play Pickelball and go to the Recreation Center here in the town, and the County. I go fishing once in a while,,, We go to the Beach ,,, I NO longer feel the NEED to be PRODUCTIVE... 

However;  The only way that I can keep my Sanity when I see and read and hear about what the current administration is doing to the country - the only was to get thru the days is to RESIST!!!   I live in a red state - meaning that most of the people here have Flags and Stickers that support the Orange Jesus - that they believe all the Bullshit that comes out of his mount - although it takes all my strength just to listen to him spew his lies and hatred - that they fly confederate flags in their yards,.. 

SO - my Productivity is to RESIST - 

I believe the difference in these folks is that they not only believe what they believe - they WANT to force YOU and ME to have to believe that also....   I don't like the material in that book or movie or song - and Not only do I not like it - I want to make sure that You can't read it , see it, or hear it .... 

I don't like the History of this country that shows women, minorities,  in a positive light, that describes their history - that BTW is OUR history - That may show the abuses that were laid on these folks by Men - white men - and the solution is to try to delete it , censor it, remove it,  the same with any reference to LGBTQ community - they can't see that these folks just wanna live and love as they see fit - and not fit into the FAKE christianity view that espoused by so Called Christians, Mothers for liberty and other BS groups that only look to take rights away from people.  

So pointing out the utter Bullshit that is what the current admin is - that the GOP leaders will wone day be held accountable for their tyranny to the Country - that their blind fait in Fat Nixon will come back to haunt them - that we will survive these years under the thumb of a Fascist wanna be dictator - that one just one of the so called leaders of the Republican party will say Enough is F-ing ENOUGH and call out publicly the abuses of power and Gright that the Current administration os involved in, and that the ONE voice becomes a starting point fo others to join in the cause .... RESIST ,,,

- Officials in the Administration talking about suspending Habeas Corpus - not for those that they claim are in the US illegally  ,,,, for Everyone you and me,, - suspending it for American Citizens  - If that happens - it is Bunker Time - not sure how we continue to live normal lives after that....  Especially if the Supreeme court goes along for the ride.

- A foreign country  - Qatar  - looking to curry favor with the POTUS - is reported to be giving him a $400 Million dollar gift to use during his presidency and then expanding that as a gift to his  Library after his term is over.   - it is Jet that he would use as Air Force 1 (reportedly to cost $100 million to retrofit to be airfroce 1)  and then after his term would be  his personal plane - Qatar says that the deal is in the talking phase - meaning they are negotiation what they can get from Dumpo for a gift of this magnitude.. and OH -- Surprise!!  Pam Bondi - supposedly the Attorney General -  says that it is lawful (constitution  - what constitution ?) for Dumpo to accpet that gift - listen what could she possibly have to do with Qatar ???  Bondi worked as a foreign lobbyist for the nation of Qatar, earning $115,000 a month in the role which she held in 2020....In this role, she lobbied Congress on behalf of Qatari interests. She also worked in a separate lobbying position for the Washington, D.C.-based firm Ballard Partners, where she also lobbied on behalf of Qatari interests and several conglomerates....  OH well there's that !

Balked on those tariffs - but not China - - oh wait yes - China - big tariffs - except on Electronic stuff - TV's Cell Phones, etc....  Big talk about bringing Manufacturing Back to the US... remember that one - yea - NO that ain't happing in - directly after he claimed that Honda was building car plant in the midwest  - they denied any such thing - saying only they could shift product to an existing plant in Indiana.  BTW - The trade agreements that lay out these thing are planned years in advance and some of the ones he says are awful - HE NEGOTIATED - NAFTA- do you remember  ?  and then there is the Tariffs chart - remember when he put tariffs on Islands who's only inhabitant are Penguins !?!?!?   and then announced a Big Beautiful deal with the UK  !! boy we showed them - no more ripping us off with that Trade Deficit !  oh wait - what ?? The Angle

This stand of trees is known as "The Angle" or some say the "Bloody Angle"  

That is the place that on July 3rd 1863 - Pickett's charge was to breach the Union line.  It is where Lee thought he could break Meade’s forces and thus defeat the Union at Gettysburg.   The plaque there notes the Confederate armies that charged the position from across a mile of open field. A few of Confederate General Armestead’s  men  made it to that point  and were killed or wounded , that spot turned out to be  the Northernmost point any Confederate soldier achieved during the war.  The other 14,000 that stepped out of the woods on the downhill side of Cemetery ridge were either rebuffed, wounded or killed, Armested himself wounded (Monument shows exactly where) on July 3rd. And died in a field hospital on the 5th.   The other pictures are looking down from Cemetery Ridge to the spot where Lee’s statue is today. One pic is zoomed,  the  Other is not.  You can see how far that was across the field and an  uphill battle against superior forces that had more men , cannons, rifles. On July 4th . in a driving rain - Lee's armies began their retreat into Virginia - a 17 mile long train of Wagons of wounded , cannons, and men.

The administration has imposed and paused Tariffs on Country after country .. in the past weeks to weaken the US economy to the point that countries - like Japan  - that hold much of our debt to start to sell off that debt because they no longer think that the US is a good economic risk !!!  And they said that this was bringing manufacturing back to the US - but then forgot all about that claim when they suspended the TAriffs ,,,, then the 2nd claim was to even the trade deficit with these countries - meaning that the US imports more from a country than we export to that country...  Hold the phone - this is what we wanted .... this is what WE set up.  - its like you buying stuff at the yard sale down the street then Blaming the Family that is having that yard sale for not buying stuff from you !  -These businesses exist elsewhere because it's cheaper to manufacture this stuff overseas and import it .,,,,  NOW dumb ass thinks that Wafer/Chip fabs , Car Manufacturing plants will pop up over night ...  and start producing immediately - like next week ....   oh and we imposed tariffs on countries that A) Have a trade deficit with US - aka we export more to them than we Import !!! and B) Two places that that are only occupied by Penguins !!!  yea NO PEOPLE exist in these places that he put tariffs on !!   IS THAT level of stupidity is what you voted for !!
